Payment and Guarantees: If a reservation is not confirmed or the payment cannot be processed, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking.
Payment at Check-In: The hotel will charge 100% of the total accommodation balance at the time of check-in.
No-Show Policy: In the event of a no-show, the hotel will charge the cost of the first night to the credit card provided as a guarantee during the reservation process.
Early Check-In / Late Check-Out: Subject to availability and will incur an additional fee.
Minor Policy (Under 18s): All minors must present a valid identification document (Birth Certificate, National ID, or Passport) and must be accompanied by an adult.
Child Protection Law: In accordance with Article 1098 of 2006 (Code of Childhood and Adolescence), minors under 18 may only check in if accompanied by at least one adult. If the adult is not one of the parents, a notarized authorization letter signed by the parents must be provided.
Smoke-Free Policy: 1616 Hotel is a 100% smoke-free property. A cleaning fee of $250,000 COP will be charged for smoking inside the rooms.
Quiet Hours and Noise: 1616 Hotel is a place for rest. High noise levels or loud music will result in a penalty of $250,000 COP + VAT.
Registration: Please note that during check-in, we will scan your ID (ID card or Passport) and you will be required to sign a lodging contract.
Additional Visitors: Any guest not registered during the initial check-in is considered an additional visitor. A fee of $300,000 COP + VAT per person will apply. Maximum room occupancy must be respected at all times.
Taxes (VAT): Local citizens (Colombians) must pay VAT (19%) at the hotel. Foreigners may be exempt according to local laws. All taxes and fees are calculated based on the current exchange rate and must be paid in local currency (COP).
Reservation and Cancellation Policies
Flexible Cancellation: You may cancel your reservation at no cost up to 48 hours before your scheduled arrival date.
Late Cancellation Fee: If you cancel within 48 hours of your arrival date, you will be charged the full price of the first night.
Credit Card Guarantee: 1616 Hotel requires all reservations to be guaranteed with a credit card. This card will be used by the establishment to charge the total stay amount only if the guest fails to cancel at least 48 hours before check-in or in case of a no-show.
